Quartz & Granite Tops

About Quartz

Quartz is a man made material where quartz crystals are mind, then ground into a sand and mixed with color paste and epoxy. The mixture is then placed under intense heat and pressure to form a solid slab.

The slab is cut, polished and inspected before being shipped to a quartz processing facility.

The process allows  each style to maintain a consistent color and designs between slabs. For this reason, quartz styles can accurately be displayed and represented in smaller sample slabs on display in one of our showrooms or viewed online.

About Granite

Granite slabs are cut from large blocks that are extracted from quarries. Rough cut slabs are then polished shipped to a granite facility.

Granite is made up of interlocking mineral crystals, the most common being feldspar and quartz. But an array of other minerals can be included, and these make each piece of granite unique.

Slabs of granite are so unique, color and design can vary greatly between slabs. A visit to a granite facility is necessary to select a slab for your project.
